KANCET LASAN DANCE

Kancet Lasan dance depicts the daily life of hornbill, the bird which is glorified by tribe Dayak Kenyah because it symbolizes glory and heroic. Kancet Lasan dance is performed by (one, two, many) dancer(s) of Dayak (woman, man, child) accompanied by (one, three, four) musical instrument player(s) . Its movement is similar to Kancet Ledo dance, but in Kancet Lasan the dancer applies many (low, high) position and cringe or sit with knee touching the (table, chair, floor). This dance symbolizes hornbill when it is flying to float.
